Hosanna SACCO, a Christian-rooted and member-owned Savings and Credit Cooperative Organisation (SACCO), has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yaatu Tech Ltd., the company behind the SaccoSys Digital Banking Platform, to digitize its operations and enhance service delivery to its growing membership.
Located on Kamukuzi Hill in Mbarara City, next to Kings Kamukuzi International Church and GNTV offices, Hosanna SACCO has been serving the church fraternity and surrounding communities for the past year. The SACCO was established to address financial challenges within Pentecostal churches and neighbouring communities by providing affordable credit, convenient savings options and reliable financial solutions tailored to members' needs.
Despite its relatively young age, the SACCO has already grown to over 400 active members, indicating the demand for accessible and community-centered financial services.
One of its flagship products, Tandika Savings, encourages members to save “mpola mpola” (little by little), helping individuals with limited resources to gradually build their savings and increase their financial capacity over time.

As membership and operations continue to expand, Hosanna SACCO recognized the need for a modern digital platform to support its growth and improve efficiency.
