About Kakoba Financial Services
Established in 2019, Kakoba Financial Services Ltd. (KFS Ltd.) is a community-based SACCO located at Plot 69, Buremba Road, Kakoba, Mbarara, Uganda. With a membership base of over 800 active members, the SACCO has made great strides in providing financial services including loans, savings and credit, to individuals in and around Mbarara.
For more than four years, KFS Ltd. has dedicated itself to serving its members. However, like many SACCOs, it has faced challenges with manual operations, limiting its ability to provide real-time access to members' savings and loan balances. Recognizing the need for digital transformation, KFS Ltd. has partnered with SaccoSys to implement SaccoSys, a web-based software software for SACCOs.
The SACCO is guided by a mission “To provide excellent, transparent and affordable credit facilities to customers in uganda” and a vision “To be the leading financial service provider in the Western and Southwestern uganda”.
